When Ted Nugent calls it “the finest hunting ranch I’ve ever seen,” you know it must be good.

Ox Ranch, set on 18,000 acres in Texas’ Hill Country, is home to thousands of native and exotic animals roaming free, with over 60 species available to hunt. From whitetail to exotic deer, antelope, sheep, buffalo and hogs, every sportsman is sure to find something worth shooting.

After landing at the ranch’s private air strip, you’ll be met by your guide for the weekend who will cater to all your needs for the next three days. Beyond the 100% hunting opportunity guarantee, your stay at the Ox Ranch also includes fishing, beverages, and meals prepared by an award-winning chef. Accommodations go above the standard hunting lodge, with luxury antique cabins featuring jacuzzi tubs, kitchenettes and spacious living rooms, set just feet from the property’s beautiful lakes.

After warming up with a Barrett M82 .50 caliber sniper rifle, spend the next two days hunting at your leisure around the ranch. If you find your mark early, there’s plenty of fishing, off-roading, hiking and exploring to keep you occupied. Don’t forget to say hi to the ranch’s eight giraffes — they love to be hand-fed!

On your final afternoon, take the Sherman Tank for a spin. You’ll test out the AK-47 machine gun and a flamethrower in the world’s only live fire tank experience available to civilians.

You’ll be in hog-heaven on the trip home with your bounty, full of hunting and fishing tales no one will believe.
