EXPERIENCE OVERVIEW

Companies that work with a purpose and focus on corporate social responsibility outperform their peers by as much as eight times1. Furthermore, compassion at work is shown to positively impact productivity, employee and customer retention, profitability, and financial performance2. While 91% of leaders surveyed say compassion is very important for leadership, a surprising 80% say they want to enhance their compassion but don’t know how3.

Over four days, participating in Compassionate Leaders Circle’s Remarkable Leaders Executive Camp, you and your team will gain tools for creating a sustainable and remarkable work culture, improve your communications skills and emotional intelligence, and learn how to use compassion and vulnerability as leaders to be more effective. Set amongst the gorgeous Rocky Mountains, you will learn while also engaging with your environment with daily activities from meditation and hiking to an invigorating white water rafting adventure.

The work begins before you arrive, with a pre-program online assessment as well as a one-on-one session with your Compassionate Leaders Circle Coach who will lead your camp. With decades of experience in executive coaching and consulting, as well as successful business ventures on their own, both Laurel Donnellan and Kelly Dwyer are dedicated to helping people find work they love, and helping organizations provide loveable work.

After landing, start at base camp and learn about the Seven C’s of Compassion during a walk around town before a dinner at The Aspen Institute with wisdom provided by a guest speaker. The next morning, set out to first connect to your past with a guided meditation, and then with a full day of being present while rafting down a raging river. On day three, go to the top of the mountains and claim your new purpose, with a hike to change the view for a new vision. Here, you will learn to look to the future and how you can be your best. After a horseback ride along Maroon Creek culminating in a luxury wilderness cowboy dinner, present what you have learned to the group around the campfire. On your final day, reflect from the edge on all you have learned, with time for insights, commitments and appreciation during a morning brunch before departure. A post-camp assessment sent to you the next week will help provide tangible personal insights regarding your skills and areas of growth as well as provide customized corporate outcomes for those organizations looking for data analysis.

With world-class accommodations, activities, and dining provided throughout the entire weekend, you’ll be free to immerse yourself in the learning while enjoying an amazing experience. You and your team will leave with more than just newfound skills and tools for the workplace, but memories and connections that will last a lifetime.
