  • A world-class golf weekend at the best and most beautiful course in Texas
  • 54 holes on Black Jack’s Crossing, designed by PGA Hall of Famer Lanny Wadkins
  • Located in a spectacular setting between the Big Bend National and State Parks
  • Live like a cowboy with dinner under the stars, an action shooting experience, and a sunrise trail ride through the desert
  • Fly directly in and out of the resort’s private air strip
Set on 27,000 acres, tucked between the Big Bend National and State Parks, lies the Lajitas Golf Resort & Spa. With shooting courses, an equestrian center, and, of course, golf, the resort is just as famous for its activities as it is for its natural beauty and rugged landscape.

Complete with its own private airstrip, you’ll waste no time after arrival and head straight to Black Jack’s Crossing, the course designed by PGA Hall of Famer Lanny Wadkins. Voted both the best and most beautiful course in Texas, the course includes breathtaking holes with spectacular mountain vistas, combining historical features of the land with the stunning setting of Big Bend National Park.

In between the weekend’s 54 holes, explore the rest of the ranch with dinner under the stars in the Lajitas backcountry and a cowboy shooting experience, walking through the town of Stargazer Mesa shooting a single-action pistol, a side-by-side shot-gun, and a lever-action rifle at nostalgic and awaiting targets. Finish the night with a hand of poker at the Thirsty Goat Saloon before returning to your “cowboy chic” accommodations, complete with cowhide rugs, rough-hewn saddles and all the amenities.

On your final morning, you have the option for one last round or a sunrise trail ride through the desert terrain to the top of a scenic mesa. Enjoy a breakfast burrito and a glass of champagne before you return to the ranch and load up for home. A short flight closes out what is sure to be a remarkable long weekend.

FAQ

Should I bring my own clubs?
You are able to bring your own clubs, but due to the size of the aircraft cargo, please ship them in advance.  Please contact your Manifest Customer Care Representative as we do have an industry partnership for this service and will cover this expense for you.  If you choose to leave your clubs at home, men’s and women’s right or left-handed clubs will be available for rent onsite for $75.00 per set for 18 holes.

What is the Cowboy Action shooting experience?
The Cowboy Action Shoot entails a walk through the resort's town of Stargazer Mesa which is full of cowboy nostalgia and awaiting targets. The resort’s resident expert cowboy shooters will provide you the chance to shoot a .38 caliber single-action revolver, a 12-gauge side-by-side shot-gun, and a .38 caliber lever-action rifle.

Are there other activities available if I don’t want to play a third round of golf?
Yes! If you don’t want to play a 3rd round of golf or do the sunrise trail ride, there other activities on site. The resort also offers ziplining, hikes on their 27,000 acres, a more experienced shooting course than what you will experience in the cowboy shootout, or we can arrange something else to your liking. Please contact your Manifest Customer Care Representative prior to the trip's departure for further details.
